Easy Intro to Your Chakras - #7 - The Crown

The chakras are a deeply profound mapped energy system that show us a path to awakening based upon seven main areas in the body that begin at the base of the spine all the way up the crown of your head.

Over time, these areas can become blocked causing us to feel emotionally exhausted or physically unwell. By activating these areas carefully and learning how to bring them into better alignment we are opened to new ways in which we live and perceive life.  

This week we will explore the seventh chakra - The Crown, Sahasrara

Sahasrara is located at the crown of our head and it gives us access to higher states of consciousness as we open to what is beyond our personal preoccupations and visions. The function of the Crown chakra is driven by consciousness and gets us in touch with universal energy. It is the energy center of universal knowledge and spiritualism which connects you to the divine. The crown chakra influences the brain and the nervous system, as well as the emotions and the level of understanding and enlightenment.
